The Clinical Decision Support Innovation Collaborative (CDSiC) aims to advance the design, development, dissemination, implementation, use, measurement, and evaluation of evidence-based, shareable, interoperable, and publicly available patient-centered clinical decision support (PC CDS) to improve health outcomes of all patients by creating a proving ground of innovation. The Standards and Regulatory Frameworks Workgroup is charged with identifying, monitoring, and promoting standards for the development of PC CDS and examining the current state of the regulatory environment. The Workgroup is composed of 19 experts and stakeholders representing a variety of perspectives within the CDS community. This report is intended to be used by the broader CDS community to advance the use of standards for PC CDS. All qualitative research activities conducted by the CDSiC are reviewed by the NORC at the University of Chicago Institutional Review Board (FWA00000142).
