The National Cancer Policy Forum convened a workshop to explore how person-centered principles can be embedded in all stages of research, including design, activation, enrollment, data collection, completion, and outcome reporting to improve the relevance, quality, and impact of clinical cancer research. Cancer survivors and patients diagnosed with cancer, caregivers, clinicians, regulators, and representatives from industry and academia shared their perspectives on opportunities and challenges to enhance innovative, person-centered clinical cancer research.
