Metastatic prostate cancer is prostate cancer that has spread to other parts of the body. Metastatic castration-sensitive prostate cancer (mCSPC) refers to metastatic prostate cancer that responds to treatment that lowers testosterone levels in the body. Patients with mCSPC often have pain resulting from cancer spreading to the bones. It is estimated that 27,900 people will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2024.
