Proximal femoral (hip) fracture is common, serious and costly. An enhanced community rehabilitation intervention (Fracture in the Elderly Multidisciplinary Rehabilitation) was codeveloped with patients, carers and therapists. Trial methods have been tested previously in a feasibility study.
