Patient health data are often scattered and incomplete. Record Linkage (RL) is a solution that links patient records within (deduplication) and across (linkage) data sets. RL increases data quality (DQ), improves data completeness, and increases data accuracy. However, current RL methods require complete data sets to be shared, causing challenges in security concerns, logistical overhead, computational resources, and inconsistency of patient identification when linkage repeatedly occurs over time.
