Latina women diagnosed with breast cancer, both current patients and longer-term survivors, report poorer quality of life compared with non-Latina breast cancer patients and survivors, including worse fatigue, anxiety, and depression. Caregivers of cancer survivors may also experience increased distress. Few studies have evaluated interventions to improve quality of life (QOL) among Latina breast cancer survivors and their caregivers.
