Disparities in the control of hypertension (HTN) and other cardiovascular disease risk factors are well-documented in the United States, even among patients who are seen regularly in the health care system. Few existing approaches explicitly address disparities in HTN care and control. This report describes the Reducing Inequities in Care of Hypertension: Lifestyle Improvement for Everyone (RICH LIFE) project primary outcomes and implications for future research, practice, and policy.
